Lab Rat

Band members Shahirah and Syarul met at the studio in 2004, where Syarul was working at the time, and later bought over the studio to be managed themselves.

Syarul, frontman of the heavy rock band Love Me Butch, needed an outlet for his more loose and carefree feel for music, and so banded together with two of his other brothers – Syaril (of band False Opus) and Acik, his partner Shahirah, and long-time studio hand Kech to form alternative-pop-folk band Lab Rat. The music that came from this union? As simple as life should be, maybe, but we’ll just let you listen and enjoy for yourself now, won’t we?
