Kali Mist

Kali-mist is a 10 piece reggae band from Bridgend, South Wales. We have been together for just over 3 years now officially forming in the summer of 2005. So far in the short time we’ve been together we have recorded and released 2 albums “Outhouse rock” and the self titled “Kali-mist” respectively. Currently we are busy writing new material for our next album which we are planning to self record and release early in the new year. When were not recording or jamming new songs we are taking every opportunity to play live shows. On most weekends you can find us playing in various venues (big & small) back and fore on the m4 corridor from Bridgend to Carmarthen to London and back again.

In our 3 years together we have played almost 200 live shows together. Playing live has allowed us to meet new people and build up a strong local following, & they come everywhere with us.

Kali-mist isn’t just the 10 performers you see on stage, it’s the people who come to our shows and support us too. They are our friends and have all influenced kali-mist in some way or other and therefore are very much apart of Kali-mist. Every show we play feels like a massive party where everyone is dancing and having a good time

During our time we have achieved things that exceeded our expectations. Here are some of our achievements that we are most proud off

Finishing 3rd place in the welsh final of Global Battle of the Bands 2006
Finishing 1st place in the welsh final of Global Battle of the Bands 2008

Having just won the welsh finals, we are now all excited for the trip to London and the opportunity to compete against the best bands from all over the world & mostly the chance of winning it.

We are ecstatic about the win & confident we can do well in the London finals and Impress the judges. We are going to need all the help of our supporters and fans so we are arranging a bus to take as many people that want to come to London.
